Announced a few moments ago, Newcastle United have sacked Head Coach Steve McClaren.

Strong rumours that ex-Real Madrid boss Rafa Benitez appointment as Manager is imminent.

    Well, at least by waiting to be sacked he will get a pay off! Got to be the poison chalice of the Premier League, my heart goes out to all the true fans. Heaven help Benitez! But at least the pay offs are good!Happy

    Apparently, it's a 3 year contract with a get-out clause if he fails to keep us up...
