I absolutely love the advert but hadn't thought about the aspect that chemicalJasper mentions about the dad making the trampoline. I agree it should have been Santa. Parents are going to have some difficult explaining to do.

no they won't. Simply tell them santa left the bits for dad to assemble cos it wouldn't fit on the sleigh otherwise!

For me - Waitrose with the robin is the best. By far the worst is The House of Fraser, it's just awful.

If you mean the 'political' one, I've just found it, and agree!  There are some clever people out there!

The downside of these 'story' ads is that you tend to forget what it is they are advertising.

    Heathrow Airport Christmas Ad

Great - but I thought it would have been a better ending if they'd been reuinited with Paddington Bear!

And a link to the Spoof John Lewis advert mentioned above - though there is a much longer version somewhere.  It seems to have been removed from Youtube where I saw it originally.

Well the adverts seem to be working! Watched the Sainsburys advert with the Googlebox animated characters, which is great, so realistic. My son saw it and messaged me to make sure I have plenty of spuds. Both my son, daughter and all the grandkids love roasties
and I can never cook enough of them, it's almost become a challenge. Maybe it's the Nigella idea of coating them in semolina before roasting. 14 for Christmas dinner, so I will need a few!
