Strictly -- Should be fair to all contestants

As for the dancing, well what a turn about last night with the exception of Danny who was just as brilliant at ballroom as latin - really excelled himself. The judges are already showing they favour some contestants more than others, I recorded it so I could
cut out all the dross in between dances and after the first few cut out most of the judges remarks too. Not sorry Len is retiring, he does a lot of 'well you came out and gave it your best, that's all I ask...!' only gives the occasional critique. I dearly
hope Bruno will follow his mate and just concentrate on the american version, then we could have Karen and Anton as judges (will someone please burn those trousers he wore last night!)Alison

Seen the judges (Robert fRinder)show back earlier in the year his claim to fame seems to be that he can sniff out a liar !! Like a fart in a lift and very often reminds us so ,
yes his dancing ability was a shock although I find him very hyper
so who's out firat ?

So what did you make of the decision tonight?
Surely, if a person refuses to dance then that person should lose by default, Its a dancing contest not a popularity contest....

Write your comments here...It did seem unfair on the couple who were sent out of the competition. BUT It's not the fault of Anastasia and Brendan. --- It's the rules of the competition.
If anybody is to be blamed, it's the strictly organisers who made up the rules in the first place.

Seems like you are leadiing as sheltered life as me nellie
Write your comments here...He plays the part of a judge in a spoof Courtroom reality programme. The drama is mostly centered around himself. --- I watched about 15 minutes of it one time then switched over. The acting was poor and the storyline was unbelievable.--
Not for me I'm afraid. Some people like that sort of thing --- so live and let live I say.
He's a not too bad dancer though, for the first weekend
I suspect he has had dancing lessons earlier in his life

I wish I'd never asked, but thanks anyway K & Alison

She didn't refuse as such, she was told not to by her doctors. She has recently had reconstructive surgery after a double mastectomy and they took muscle tissue from her back to do it, sadly she has torn some of that work with the energetic routine they first attempted so they rechoreographed the whole thing to be less strenuous but the damage was already done. The reason she wants to try and stay in a bit longer at least is because she is donating her fee to Cancer Research and obviously the longer she is in the higher that fee, admirable but I don't think it is worth putting herself through anymore if it is really bad or fair to the other contestants really. Perhaps if she realises it is too much for her this week she may still step down and then they could reinstate Melvin ?

I think she should step down ( which I can't see her doing ) because there are some more very strenuous dances to follow . The same problem could arise, as for the fee I don't think they get any more for being in longer. But I will stand corrected .

Well I thougt the dancing tonight was very good by the majority of contestants......My two for the dance off.....the birds of a feather girl and the eastenders girl.
I think that Ed Balls's popularity will keep him in for a few weeks yet......

Totally agree that the dancing was of a generally better quality tonight. Really enjoyed the programme. The rankings at the end were spot on. the three at the top deserved to be there. likewise the three at the bottom deserved to be there.
Of course the public vote may change the rankings.

OK....Another night of good dancing by the majority of celebs
I think Ore is showing us that he is up for the glitterball even though it's early days .... What aJive I'll
stick my neck out and tip the finalistts to be Ore, Danny ad Louise....I thought the worst dancers were Ed, Naga and Anastacia. Can't see Ed being voted off yet so will go for either of the other two..OK
then ....Naga.......0 -

then ....Naga.......Yes tend to agree Brian, I think I would put the Judge in with Naga , and Anastacia though. Any one from three.

Well, there goes Naga.
Pity, she's rather attractive
Seems that Ed is deluding himself that he's very popular with the public (remember when, in his previous career, he commissioned a survey to try to find out why he was so unpopular?)
Next week, maybe? On the basis that he's not a great dancer, of course.

Yes he has a very nasty chest infection , can't spell or pronounce the guy's name taking his place ,

Slightly of topic, but I'd rather see Brendan Cole sitting in Lens chair than that smarmy Anton
When I tink of Mr A dB nails screetching on blackboards comes to mind....

Another night of good dancing by the majority I feel..... However apart from Ed, (who still isn't in the equasion yet) I feel that the dance off is two from the following three....... Lesley & Anton, Greg & Natalie and Anastacia and whoever. I think Anastacia actually danced well, but feel that the public dislike her and so don't vote for her. If she is in the dance off, then she will survive..... Who to go? I think Greg.....
DSB...Your pound looks good for five more weeks I think...
PS....Daisy loks a bit of a dark horse to me, silently stalking the pack......

"Come Prancing" as I call it is the DCOS's favourite TV programme, but I avoid it if at all possible. Its all so predictable. If the judges in their infinate wisdom slate someone, then the public will almost inevitably step in to save them. Its noticeable lately that the judges have become less critical in order not to create that reaction from the public.
Me? I prefer a good documentary or a good book!
