    Apparently every scene containing a close up of the actress playing Victoria needs to be digitally enhanced to hide the edges of the Blue contact lenses which give the actress, who has brown eyes, the blue eyes which Victoria was renouned for. Very time
    consuming but shows how accurate the production team want to make the series. 

    It's a very watchable series.

    Watching both Poldark and Victoria and loving both, I assume the side stories are added purely because there is only so much they can do with historical, well-documented material, same with the attractiveness of the cast - would so many really watch and
    enjoy if everyone was not so pleasing to look at I wonder ? Without the stories about the staff for instance we would not have had such background about the state of the poor health & living conditions in the slums of London, all of which is relevent to any
    programme about victorian Britain.

    I've now caught up with all the episodes by using ITV hub on my Ipad and Barclays free wifi in between doing deliveries.

    Luckily, there were no more deliveries to do after 8.30p.m. on Sunday night, so I got to see the whole of the last episode uninterrupted except for the ads in between!

    Enjoyed watching 'Victoria', noticed at the end there will be a second series. Assume that was always on the cards as I think the whole series was filmed before they had an idea how popular it would be

    At least we know there will be one good programme  to look forward to on telly next year.
