I must admit, I've had no real problems with following the dialogue. Mind you, I've been watching on catch up using iPad and headphones tha knows!

Is it all just a bit of the 'emperor's new clothes' syndrome?

Just watched tonights episode, didn't have any hearing troubles, mind you, I haven't had any issues at all with the series so far. Could put that down to my northern upbringing and also my life in the forces where you quickly learnt to understand all the different dialects, or look a fool.....Cool

Really loving this new series of Happy Valley, it moves along at a heck of a pace.

Fancy Hayley getting up to a bit of rumpy pumpy!!

Sarah Lancashire is a brilliant actress, love her in this, loved her in Last Tango in Halifax.

Just started watching it yesterday as I had them on the sky plus. I have watched the first two episodes so far and it looks like it will be very good again, it is good that they have kept some of the characters who were in the last series.

So we are approaching the final episode and tension is building. What do we think is going to happen?

Thats the beauty of such skilful writing, keeping your viewer guessing. Absolutely no idea on the outome but I bet it will be a dramatic conclusion. The hour will fly pass on Tuesday evening unfortunately.

I think the series is great, but the sound quality is terrible and you really need to concentrate on what is being said as the it just sounds like mumbling!  They film from the back most of te time so can't even lip read - may have to resort to subitltles
    so I don't miss anything!

So what did people think? A few surprises certainly. I thought the final episode (of this series) was quite tight and kept the tension/story going to the last minute. I thought the final minutes were quite interesting when she was watching the young lad
running across the field and perhaps wondering whether he would turn out like his father? I think Sarah Lancashire has been excellent in the role and so different from what she has done before.

Thought the sound quality was poor throughout the series, however, the series itself was brilliant (although not as good as the first!)    Another series in the offing I feel, great actress is Sarah Lancashire no matter what she's in.   Come a long way from
    Raquel in Corrie Wink

I have been avoiding this thread for the last few days as i only got around to watching the final episode last night so I didn't want it to be spoiled lol. I thought the ending was good and tied up all the loose ends and there were a few twists and turns.
I have read that a third series has been commisioned so it should be on screens early next year I wonder what kind of dramatic stories they will come up with for the next series how much can one woman take.
