Benidorm is Back!
ITV @ 9 pm tonight - about as stupid and non-PC as a programme can get, and completely unmissable (IMHO!)

Totally agree, one of the few programmes I really enjoy.

I'll be too busy trying to catch up from last night's offerings. I've got War & Peace, Deutschland 83, and the Tsars to watch.

Love Benidorm.

I love it. It really cheers me up (despite the absolutely Non PC script) - and I quite like the potential new characters, plus those who've returned for this series! Roll on many more episodes.
It's one of those programmes that you don't admit to your friends you enjoy!

Was not to impressed with the first episode last night the young lad joey with the Afro did't go down to well with me , the new family may take a few episodes to settle, Grandad jury's out on him , the little girl certainly looks promising, but what a
big relief when Mateo turned up0 -

There's no Benidorm without Matteo - thank goodness he returned! Not keen on 'afro kid' but still some great jokes. Think it maybe coming to it's end though as getting tired!

Just caught up with the first episode over lunch. I thought it very funny especially Afro Kid as some have dubbed him!!! Good to see the delightful Honor Kneafsey as Jodie who I am sure will upstage many of the adult performers.

Just watched part of this new series utter rubbish! I was an avid watcher of Benidorm but the acting in the latest episode is unbelievable. Bobby Knutt was a very funny comic in his day, but I think he should now call it a day along with the rest of the
recent cast ...!!0 -
Enjoyed the 1st couple of series, recorded this one and watched last night....oh dear...very tired, it's like a very worn pantomime standing waiting for laughs...doesn't work for us, they should have bowed out a couple of series ago.

Ha, you've got to laugh. Not so good now as it was but afro kid cracked me up.
We walked through Benidorm yesterday, some of the real life characters you see there should be on the telly!!

If you've never watched it then I don't suggest you start now! Part of the appeal is knowing how the characters have developed over all the previous series - the inter-relationships, the innuendo, and the interactions.
It's a love it or hate it - and as I said in my previous post, not something you want your friends to know you enjoy!

I take back my comments about Joey - he was hilarious this week and had some guts to perform in a mankini! Great to see some old favourites back too!

Sorry don't want to be a damp squid but joey doesn't do it for me. Find it hard to believe someone who is coming over so THICK DULL & STUPID would be abroad on holiday, can't laugh with him or at him,
As for the rest this weeks episode seems to be getting there, and will keep watching
on the trailers it does show madge on a top of the range disabled scooter so it certainaly looks like she is deffinatly paying a visit as is Joan Collins

Think Joan Collins made an appearance in the last series. Probably she needs the money.
