Has anyone been watching the new series. It started off on Sunday night and was very good as usual the storyline was gripping. Looking forward to the next episode.

    I enjoyed it as well. Definitely my type of programme, not overly dramatic, reasonably believable with an in depth story line, although nothing will top Inspector Morse and John Thaw.

    We watched Endeavour as well and loved it.  As Whittaker says a good, believable and gripping storyline.  No no-one will be as good as John Thaw - he was a one off - but this is excellent.  I wonder whether John Thaw's daughter will be in this series as
    the news reporter again?

    I liked it too.  Followed the last series from beginning to end, and will do the same this time.

    I quite like it although at this stage its difficult to see how he eventually became Inspector!!! Even Strange, his future boss has now got his strips.

    In a similar genre is The Young Montalbano on BBC4 on Saturday night.  In one you have the beautiful scenery around Oxford and the other Sicily, best of both worlds.

    I saw it on PBS here in the states love that FredThursday he a kinde of person youed to sit and have a beer with by the way is season3 out yet ? Id like know is FredThusday still doing well ?J&ICoolKiss
