Variety of pets on sites!
Its amazing the variety of pets you see on CC sites apart from dogs. Recently we had a cat diagonally opposite and a tortoise next door at Moreton-in-Marsh. I remember once seeing a pair of cockatoos in an awning at Blackshaw Moor along with a cat who was
taken out on a lead for walks. My gran used to take her budgiE in the van with her. I'm quite tempted to take my chickens but I think they would soon have the grass bare!

I've just been on a site where someone had a Guinea Pig and walked it on a harness.

My BIL takes his ferrets away with him on a regular basis. To an AS site, although they use log cabins when site is closed to vans. He helps owners with their rabbit problem!
We have done dogs and cat, seen tortoises, budgies, parrot, mice, hamsters, even fish!

TDA, I forgot to add a smiley on my last post so I will do so now
I am still baffled, unless you are my BIL in disguise? Guns? Dogs? Nets? Ferrets? Camo clothing? Weird hat? Understanding Wife? Great
kids? Heart of Gold?0 -

We have taken rabbits, guinea pigs, tortoises, rats and even stick insects at various times. The rats used to love to sit on the sofa back and watch what was going on - people did used to do a bit of a double take if they casually glanced in and saw them...quite
funny!I remember sweeping up the rabbit poos off the pitch before we left being a bit of a pain though!

I remember at Cirencester a few years back a pair of ferrets being walked in harnesses. Not sure if the owners had bags to clean up after them though!
Interestingly, when booking on the Eurotunnel website, there is a section where you can select any pets you are taking; it lists them as: dogs, cats or ferrets. Have never seen any abroad though......

A few years back we were on a site in the Loire region when a car drew in, driven by a lone woman, pulling a small horse box. The lady sets up her tent, brings a donkey out the horse box and tethers it to the pitch. She was only there for the one night and
left early the following morning so don't know how she went about exercising her pet. It did wake us up with a very loud "heehaw" at 6am as she was getting ready to leave.Speaking later to the site staff, they explained the lady was a well known, but slightly eccentric French author who always took her donkey around with her.
