Easter eggs and dogs

Good advice Husky, it is also a good idea to make sure your chocolate is out of reach of any dog.
At Xmas my daughter and family went out for the day and one of the grandchildren had left a box of chocolates open. When they returned their dog had devoured at least a dozen of them including wrappers. Thankfully they were milk chocolates, as apparently
dark chocolate is very toxic. After a day or so of ill health the dog fully recovered.

they are not Easter eggs, they are chocolate eggs,

Our dog opened, and ate three chocolate eggs (all milk) and left the foil neatly unwrapped, on the rug, as evidence! She lived another ten years afterwards so it obviously didn't do her any harm.
BUT I would still heed Huskydog's warning - chocolate is not good for dogs, and can even kill.
