Fox and Cat

we put out food scraps for the fox in our garden, and watch on our info red camera , to night a cat came down the path followed by the fox ,the cat ate from the bowl with the fox sitting a couple of feet away,the cat then walked away and the fox had his
turn at the bowl .

ive never seen this before ,as I would have thought that the fox would have attacked the cat ???, has others seen this type of behaviour??

    If you have ever seen the state of a fairly large dog that's tried to attack a cat perhaps the fox is very wise!

    I've seen my old cat sitting in the garden, on more than one occasion, when a fox comes along.  Cat looks at fox, fox looks at cat, fox carries on strolling past, both quite unconcerned.

    Frown and here’s me thinking the Owl & the Pussycat had a strange relationship.

    Our cat totally ignores foxes - as if they aren't there at all.  I'm not sure if this is normal, or if she is just a 'super-cool' cat, but I do wonder!   It's interesting to read how other cats react to foxes - in much the same way it would appear.

    Now how our cat reacts to dogs, on the other hand...................!  Different story!

    The owl and the pussycat's diet was a bit strange as well.

    Write your comments here...No not seen that, but I remember seeing the remains of a cat which foolishly tried to fight it out with the small farm terrier. -- Not a pretty sight.
