Hi All,

Some of you may already know but we're complete newbies to all this and we've ordered our 1st MH for delivery on the new reg of March 1st next year. We are so excited and can't wait to get camping. We ordered our new MH about 3 weeks ago and time is dragging
so slow, each day Mrs FB & I talk about which sites we are going to visit and what we want to do. With time dragging does someone have a spare time machine they could lend us so we can fast forward to next March????

Come on Guys you've been brilliant with all my questions and requests for advice so far.

How about connecting to Utube and other video programmes to review your options and learn all the ins and outs before you get on board?

I would agree with JV and see if you could hire one, it would give you a good insight into what you might need and more to the point what you won't need. We all seem to have garages with things we have bought that we thought we would need but don't.Frown

actually instead of using your time machine to go forward use it to go back and place your order sooner? that way of course you would have got your MH by now.

But then of course you wouldn't have posted your OP to borrow a time machine so you wouldn't have been able to travel back in time to order you MH?

Is the motorhome built and with the dealer already? Why wait for next plate???  If it's not have you considered there maybe a delay? I don't want to pour cold water on things just being realistic. Certainly from what I've read on here delays on delivery
of caravans are on quite common, hopefully not with motorhome. Having said that welcome, soon, to the world of motorhoming. Lastly don't wish your life away, it goes fast enough!

I have the user name fatbelly because for many years I was fat with a very big belly. 18 months ago I started going to the gym and eating sensibly and most importantly only having alcohol on Friday & Saturday nights and even then in strict moderation.
I never thought I would keep it up as I have failed on many previous occasions. I have astonished myself and kept to it, I go to the gym most days and alcohol, cream cakes etc are now a treat for me as opposed to the norm. I have now lost nearly 4 stone and
    feel so much better.

Hey - you have got to get through Christmas and New Year yet.

Enjoy those first and that will seemingly shorten the wait

    Good luck and enjoy!

Sorry can't help with time machine, use the waiting time to plan  a few trips away.  Routes/sites etc with alternatives in case the ones you choose are booked. Happy touring.

Looking at your avatar why not fly off after the swallows for the winter and return in the spring just in time to pick up your M/H....Wink

Well done with your diet, hope you manage to keep it up over the festive period.

A time machine might take you back too far so you appear as you were in a previous existence. Surprised

I have found I pay far less for a car on the end of year plate - I would never bother with a new one.

Many congratulations on the weight loss.  Smile

At this moment in time I would prefer a time machine that would take me back a few years (not too many & knowing what I know now of course)  Good to see a lifestyle change is a success.

" With time dragging does someone have a spare time machine they could lend us so we can fast forward to next March????   "

If I had one, I'd go back to July 9th & miss the low barrier damage caused to my caravan !

well if in the future you do get one then the proof of that would be that your message (and this one)  will disappear

Write your comments here...If there was a spare time machine knocking around, some members would use it to go back in time and undo a purchase they had made and were now regretting.

If you want to lose more weight take a pitch the furthest from the Loos / showers and the Elsan emptying point, preferably go to the bottom of any hill and offer to fill up your neighbours roller barrel  Surprised
    Good luck

Don't be tempted to buy too much before you take delivery. We did that and have spent the rest of the time getting rid of things we found that we didn't need.
