We are considering buying a quad bike for use by my wife and I and possibly for carrying our little 4 legged friend a JackCho. Ideally we would like the Quad Bike to very compact a the smallest possible to put onto a trailer on the back of the motorhome
and sideways rather than length ways which of course would take up more room. Any advise on any particular make of Quad and the type and make of trailer that would varry this would be very much appreciated.

Thank you, John

I am no expert but carrying two people will limit your choice I would think. Visit online dealers to start with?

A quad bike for two people and a dog?

Farm dogs often stand on the back of quads, but I don't thinks that's what you are after.

Yes Goldie I suspect quad bike isn't what the OP is after.  I have sat on the back of a few not recommended!

Compact Quads, whilst being possible to carry two people, I wouldn't like to be on pillion. Saw a Yamaha quad in town this morning and the guy riding it took up most of the seat. He would have needed a very slim passenger to get two on it.

I think you need to think larger Quad, like the Quadzillas range, though you would need a large trailer to carry one.

Something like a golf buggy perhaps?  They hire those out on the Isles of Scilly for tourists to get around on.  I didn't think my two dogs would stay onboard though but with two of you, the passenger could keep hold of the dog.  I have no idea about those
    on mainland roads though?
