What? Expect the CC to put member requirements first? This isn't the C&CC you know

pete and jan, some fairly typical CC/CT caravaner responses in the other thread and now again in this one already....

caravanners 'don't see the need as i dont do it (whatever 'it' is) in my caravan...'

similarly, 'the CC doesnt currently do this , it will never change, go away and join a club that does...'

....a not untypical response to a new idea or change that might improve an aspect of the way the club works.....

as Graham says, a lovely mix of understanding and customer service....notSad

the club is light years behind the times in understanding motorhomers and how they 'work'....they actually believe they are caravans with enginesUndecided

their sites are (very) gradually (a 20 yr plan is 'underway') coming into the 21st century with their facilities but the MHSPs are generally so badly sited (causing obstructions) and so badly designed (lifting heavy manhole covers etc) that using them causes
a site to grind to a halt.

now, we cant have that happening even if it is a member who wants to fill/empty....its bad enough having the ones that are actually booked in causing a nuisance.....

good luck to your new life with a MH, try MCC or even FranceUndecided

I believe that the CC should offer a refill and dumping service to passing motorhomes... for a suitable fee....

It would then make it clear as to the rules of engagement. Like the CCC this would only be at bigger / newer sites that had a suitable MH service point which any visiting motorhome could use without causing obstruction and inconvenience to those on site.

I wouldn't use it myself, as we dont do the wild thing.. Winking

As this is a repeat of the discussion in the thread highlighted, I'm closing this one to avoid duplication.
