CRIS document

We took delivery of our new caravan on 01 July 2016 but to date have not received the registration document. According to CRIS website they just state that it will arrive shortly! The dealership registered the van - have other members had to wait long for
this or should I chase them up?  Any suggestions? Thanks.

    Same here, we took delivery on 30th June and waiting for CRIS doc.

    And me,Van delivered in February 2016, dealer informed, and just waiting now.Dealer informs me its not them that is at fault.

    I took delivery of my van in November 2015, no CRIS yet, will be calling in at the dealer over the weekend to sort out some warranty work.

    we collected our 'new' caravan on 22/06/16 and the Cris docs arrived last Sat (23/07/16) Laughing

    We collected our new (to us) caravan on 24th June. Had a phone call from CRiS last week regarding payment for registration of change of owner (dealer had given them info), but haven't received the document yet.

    Mine took approx 6 weeks to arrive when i bought my last van in 2013

    I took delivery of a new van early in 2007 and have no CRIS document. No problem - it's not essential and the wheels still go round.

    We took delivery of our van 4 weeks ago.

    CRIS telephoned last night but we missed the call, called back to an automated service which said they will call us back this evening.

    I'm sure we didn't have this bother with the old van.

    I purchased a caravan last October, it took forever for my documents to come through.

    When I rang the holdup was on the Vendors side, they hadn't sent the paperwork through, my caravan was showing as still being in their stock.

    It will happen eventually.

    IIRC, my 2007 van purchased in 2011 arrived after about three or four weeks. As some have said though, the diligence and expedition of the dealer is a factor.
