No problem at all with that, as long as you are not blocking it for motorvans. After all they would find it difficult to get to the taps you can use.

I've done the same if the motorhome point is nearer to my pitch but would move if a motorhome owner needed to use it.

Can't see the issue. I would expect an Aquaroll to be filled and you well departed in the time it takes for a MH to pull up, get out, sort themself out and be ready to use the facility?
Is it that the facility is an exclusive for just one type of member?

I fill my motorcaravan onboard tanks using a plastic jerry can by walking to the 'normal' service points to get water, is that okay? I can't really see a problem sharing the MV points as long as we don't impede or make access to the points difficult for the motorcaravaners who need to pull their vehicles up to the taps. Afterall, on some sites doing so would indeed cause traffic flow problems.

Wardens are no problem. They've recommended to us to use it in the past.

no problem with anyone getting water from a MHSP if convenient, as long as they don't have a provlem with me using any handy 'ordinary' tap to top up my van (with a hose) should i need to....
if on a one site visit, ill fill on the way in and empty on the way out....
if a multi site trip, ill empty and fill ready for next site, on the way out...making the most of the time stood at the MHSP

Can't see a problem just don't try washing your car.
...We have not had a problem "Rinsing"the car or c/van but i agree with not useing chemicals
why would the club be happy to allow folk to wash cars on site?
what a waste of water.....do it at home or get the poles to do when you're off site....

Not a problem at all as long as you dont block it for mh. Dont tell the warden but I have used an empty superpitch tap for filling our water tank When we had the RV. It was directly behind ours so just put the hose on and stood by the tap to move it if needed.
Used to do the same if we were on the pitch next to the general taps -just plug it in but stand by it to move the hose if anyone else wanted the tap.0 -
While in Cornwall this summer the motorhome hose conected on the tap that we all use, but the pich we where on this year the hose could reach our water barrel without moving it from our caravan, it was great I never moved the water barrel, just kept topping
up with the long hose0 -
good thinking, Batman
why take the horse to water if the water can come to the horse?
...to say nothing about a bloke called Muhammed......and some hill or another

..Was it connected to the drinking water tap ?or the "other" one which would be used to rinse the waste drains on mvsp
