An Unexpected Cure

Hi [Deleted User User].
Good post on this we sometimes have our water pump hunt when the taps are off, this usually happens on our first day out after the MH has been sat unused. I normally pull hot and cold water through until it clears, but I will try this after I next use our
MH. Thanks0 -
agree with DD, we had a poorly fitting junction on the output side of the water pump which went unnoticed for a time, despite my suspicions of a leak....all fixed now, but the pump still occasionally turns over without taps being on.
i had another area of suspicion and finally detected that the external dump valve was weeping/dripping just enough to show a small damp circle when on a HS.
we live in a very hard water area and i suspect a small bit of 'rocking up' jas caused the seat to not be perfect....it is due to be cleaned/changed.
again, just enough to cause the pump to sporadically turn over.
