Thanks nellie Smile  We'll try that.  I suppose it'll all be a bit of trial and error at first.

Hope it arrives on time and look forward to hear how you went on with your first trial.

Well, it's arrived (a day earlier than expected)  Only just unpacked it!  The instructions are a bit vague .... there is a separate item in a small plastic bag which looks to be some kind of nylon filter?  No idea where it's supposed to go.  Does anyone
    else have one of these?

it is a fluff filter!  Fits on the inside of the wash tub!

Thanks PR1 .... now that I've had a proper look, it seems obvious, but they should put it in the blummin instructions Frown

Thanks Tammy Winking Just done my first wash!!  The first time in over 30 years I've ever been excited about washing OH's underpants Laughing

I think I used too much liquid as it took an awful lot of rinsing Embarassed  and I seem to have a leak from the top of the machine
(between the blue and white bits)  but I'll have another go tomorrow Smile

We have had a few over the years, and tried various others.

    1) 1.5kg wash capacity - forget it. Can't cope with a pair of jeans. These machines are often blue in colour.

    2) 2.0 kg wash capacity - the best we have had. Jeans OK, duvet cover OK etc

    3) 3.5kg capacity - we use this now. Full set of bedding etc. Downside is it uses more water.

If I could get hold of a 2.0kg capacity again, I' would dump the 3.5kg in preference to the smaller one. As said, the 1.5 is pathetic for larger items, unless you are happy to still use launderettes etc for big things.

Don't forget to take the filter out after each washing session and remove debris inside. Did you use cold water for rinsing, as it get rid of the "suds" better?

...Laughing I only filled the wash tub with water to the middle mark, havent tried It with bedding yet but ours are singles in the
van so i should have any problems. How much washing liquid to use is always going to be a guess i think as we move around from hard to soft areas. Who says washing cant be funWink Ive
finally found a use for my exercise stepper, its now the washing machine standWink perfet size and being plastic it can sit in the shower tray, the
machine stands on it perfect and the drain goes straight down the shower drain, into the waste tank.

nellie, yes I did use cold water to rinse.  For the wash, I used a capful of Asda liquid which seems to have been too much Undecided

Tammy, I also filled water to the middle mark.  I had a slight leak, but nothing major.  We have singles in the van aswell so I think it'll work for the bedding.

Haven't done a second load today as it's a dreary wet day here Frown

Perhaps the Asda liquid is of a greater concentration than the Tesco liquid we use. We manage a full duvet cover, which we use instead of sheets, in the washer & spinner.

We have a 3.5kg wash capacity model. Would n't be without it. It more than pays for itself on any long trip that we do, plus saves bringing load of laundry back!

    Our washer

The 1.5kg version is pretty useless in my opinion.

Thanks Russ Smile The one we bought has a 3.5kg wash capacity.  It's just going to take a bit of getting used to I think Laughing
I've only done one load so far, so need a bit more practise!

Yes, first few times you use it, you are still finding your feet and developing a system. It's great though. A real money saver and "fun!" too.

We sometimes do so much laundry, we run out of line space!

Whites first, then light coloureds, then stuff like jeans.
