possibly im a bit thick, but does anyone have a good system of putting a fitted sheet on a cut-off mattress, lack of space at the side of the bed and dealer extra mattress make life a bit tedious. im tired of being on the floor with the dam thing on top
of me, any tips would be appreciated. regards bob

we ised to have a corner "French" bed and i used to kneel on the bed and lift up the corner of the mattress and slip the sheet over it....repeat for next corner etc....

bit of a pain but soon got the hang of it....

Used the same technique in our old swift with corner bed, as BB says, a bit of a pain but, with practice, achievable

Cannot do that with ours, it's too thick and solid to be able to lift a corner when kneeling on it!

I pull it off the bed and stand it on edge while I get the sheet over the wall edge, then the rest is easy.

    Using a stretchy sheet helps.

We felt that our Swift French bed mattress was less than ideally comfortable, so decided, at considerable expense, to replace it with a Duvalay mattress, as fitted to new Swift vans. A few unexpected benefits beside improved comfort arose. It's much lighter than the original, increasing payload, the counterbalanced bed is easier to raise and best of all, you can easily lift a corner to fit a sheet while kneeling on it. Duvalay mattresses are far more flexible than the original.
