Water hose
Hi follow caravan's I am looking for some advice
we are fairly new to the world of caravaning and I am a very neat and tidy person, I am struggling to get the water hose into a neat and tidy space, I have looked at flat and curly hose reels but reviews are not so good, if anyone has any solutions please
pass them on
thank you

Hi Ukellie and welcome to Club Together and the world of caravanning.
Are you talking about a water hose to use on a serviced pitch? Most people put them on a 'reel' so they're easily wound in and out.

I assume you're using serviced pitches otherwise I can't think why you'd need a hose with a caravan.
My solution - forget neat and tidy, you're on holiday. Coil it up as best you can and bung it in a locker. It's a time tested method.

Nah, I'm for bunging. Life's too short to faff around.
Tidy inside the van, yes, but what does it matter about the outside lockers?

We have two lengths of the blue hose that we can join together if required. The first came with the aqua roll kit and has a small circular bag which, if you coil it tight, it fits into. The second, which we bought separately, when we ended up on a pitch where one was just not enough, fits into a mini kids rucksack from Go Outdoors, cost £5. All very neat and tidy.

Can't help your make-up. I'm not fanatical but tidy is nice. Since OH become househusband I have had to lower my standards considerably or do everything to my standard, life's def to short for all work while he plays .
Out of interest our water hose is loosely looped on top of the internal water tank once its drained off outside . sorry having never caravanned I have no idea about storage, compromise!use will be the name of the game

We (I) bought another circular bag for a hook up cable and store the water hose in that and use a similar green bag for the waste water hoses.
Keeps them all neat & tidy for staring when back at base.
They must be tidy if they are that mesmeric.
