Mobile Broadband
I saw in the club magazine an offer for mobile internet. The deivce plugged into 12 volts and gave 6gb of data over 3 months. I tried to find out the costs of top ups to no avail. I even e-mailed the supplier but had no respsone. So I looked wider and found
3 do something similar which i have tried. Cost £19 up front and £10 a month. Gives 2gb of data a month, (enough for 22 hours browsing). 12 month contract. the devcie has built in battery giving 6 hours of use which means it can be used anywhere, as long as
there is a signal. We have now tried it on 3 sites with pleasing result. Faster than home broadband!! Ideal for routes, opening hours etc when travelling or on site.

We use a 3 pay as you go dongle. Costs £15 for 3gb over 30 days. Works a treat! If we're not touring, we don't pay. It's working a treat at the moment in southern Italy.

I am another 3 PAYG user, quite happy with it. Typically, I buy the 12GB allowance. 3 have a "no roaming charges" arrangement in several Countries now. I have an unlocked MiFi dongle, so, if we are in a country where roaming charges apply, then I obtain a "local" PAYG SIM and use that. Our mobiles are Tesco/O2, who are now entering the "no roaming charges" arena. Once this is operational, it may prove better to simply use the Mobile Hotspot facility of the mobile phone(s).

I have a 3 MiFi. I have just purchased 12gb for £30 which lasts 12 months. Rarely have I found that I can't pick up a signal but no mobile provider offers 100% coverage around the country.
We have similar but got a better deal over 18mth with 15gB per monthfor about the same outlay. Suits us fine. However we've not been able to get a signal at Stamford or Clumber of course.

Same here
I used to buy 3 and 12 month sims from Amazon. But now the 12Gb £30 deal direct from Three takes some beating. Lasts me about 12 months, and that includes using for work because the coverage is so much better than the Vodofone one my employer provides. Even
manages to stream TV.Cheap, no contract, just the way I like it.
