    Gee thanks! Worried

    Your welcome. Cool

It's the pitch we were left with last weekend.

    Prefer pitch 2 (hint, hint)

We're off to Nottingham for a couple of nights - no caravan, just a hotel as we wanted to be within a taxi ride of the city centre. The last ever time we will see
Bellowhead. Last week we went to their Sheffield gig and thought it was the best ever (we've been to a lot). Will this surpass it? Front row seats so plenty of room for dancing.

Write your comments here...    Gutted!  I love Bellowhead - didn't know they were splitting.  I have seen them at festivals a few times and they have always been really entertaining.  Enjoy the concert!

We are in Salamanca (Spain) and will be staying for the holiday weekend, not sure where after that. Weather is cooler today than it has been for the last 4 days and we have a little rain on and off, tomorrow its forecast to be better and then getting hotter
    all next week.

Just seen that the weather forcast for our usual route to Melrose (A68) over Carter Bar tomorrow is
heavy snow! I think I'll have to go the A1/697 through Kelso to Melrose, that way is just heavy rain!

    If anyone knows that road?

We've used it with no problems that I can think of. It's just a bit longer I guess, but does have more traffic on the A1.

Happy  Laughing  Well,  I'm  feeling  a  fair  bit  Chirpier  now  Wink

Took  m/h  in  for  checks  on  my  non-retracting  retractable  step  &  non-refrigerating  fridge.

Young  polite  { Kept  calling  me  Mr  M,  Sir Surprised!}  engineer  said  new  step  on  order  the moment  I  give  permission,  which  I  did  instantly.  And  he  will  phone  me  the  moment  he  knows  its  on  its  way  -  then  we  can  arrange  a  couple  of  mutually  convenient  hours  to  fit  it.  All  this  for  a  modest  fee { Yell }.

As  for  the  WAECO  Compressor  fridge  he  has  given  me  the  phone  number  of  a  quality  warranted  "Expert"  in  that  field,  and  he  will  be  booked  for  a  home  visit  after  the  other  work  is  done.

All  this  means  I  can  go  out  &  enjoy  the  w/end  in  my  usual  fashion  {  Llandudno  Transport  Festival  &  Rushden  Cavalcade  assuming  the  muds  not  above  my  rear  lights.}  there  will  be  the  occasional  Gottle  of  Geer  when  I  get  home  I  reckon.

    Have  fun  everybody,  please  !!

We drove through a blizzard yesterday on Skye but Fort William was clear when we arrived last night.

We wildcamped on Glencoe and its cold with some sun and occasional hail showers so you should have a decent journey.

That's what we do, table out and laid, kettle on, back into warm van, sat watching everyone else hiding from rain, car windows steamed up!

Have you sorted out dog sleeping arrangements? Ours adore being in MH, if doors are open on drive, they are in like a shot and like to sleep in there! We have to scoot them out to finish packing!Laughing

Our little MH has bed across middle behind swivel seats, so we make a lovely nest with the two seats and a dog bed for one Lab, while other likes to nest half under bed, half out. Neither move a muscle all night luckily! They go between beds if we use singles!
They love it though. Go to sleep, wake up next to a beach! Laughing

We stay at home for this bank holiday, as I like to go to the Hastings Jack in the Green procession on Monday. My OH comes along with me and moans non stop. This year I'll be doing my regular Monday shift as a medieval character, Sarah the midwife, volunteering
at NT Bodiam Castle, East Sussex. If anyone's over this way, come and say "hello". Hopefully OH will come along so he can have something different to moan about, haha.
