    Last night on Ile de Ré, then we're heading towards Carcassonne. Enjoyed it here. Nice rolling thunderstorm going on at the moment.

    Glad that you are enjoying your trip. We've also had the other end your storm. It's been so bad in Manchester that substations have been shut down by lightening and there are flash flood. The Man. City match has also been called off due to safety concerns.Surprised

    Which one is it? We've stopped at Barleywood a couple of times and that too is a great site.

    thanks Dave, just lucky to have an understanding OH.  I know it's selfish but I do like to have the freedom to decide where and when sometimes

    Busy organising for 2 hols.  

    2 sleeps to a week in the caravan at Haven Pwhelli, one night back home then 11 nights AI in Corfu

    Both bargain breaks.

    3 more sleeps then 8 nights at Ashridge farm cc site .SWMBO has promised me an "escape pass" to vist IWM Duxford , happy days . I'm sure it's going to cost me in the long run !!.

    Just tonight's (rather short) sleep to go and then we set off for a fortnight in Canada - east side this time, including Niagara, but possibly just a touch too early for the real fall colours on the trees.

    Will try to look in on CT when time, wifi and Mrs M allow! Surprised. Use left and right arrows to navigate.

    Thank you, BB. It's a bit of an unusual break for us, but lots of forest walking over there as well as the popular tourist sights.. Really looking forward to a complete change of scenery. Happy

    i have been out there a few times as we have relatives who live in Whitby near Toronto. Niagra falls is a nice place a bit over commercialised but nice all the same and the falls are spectacular. Toronto is also a nice city I recommend a trip up to the top
    of the CN Tower the views across the coty are great. Hope you and Mrs M have a great time

    CN tower is first on our list, Francis. We start with 3 days in Toronto then a trip to Niagara Falls and Niagara on the Lake. Happy

    Just spotted this Moulesy after asking about your trip on another thread. It's good fun walking in the tunnel under Niagara! I think you will also see some of the Fall, it's a good time to go. Smile
