    Our rally in July has been cancelled.  Have been spending a long time trawling through alternative sites and rallies. Just when schools outside Scotland start the main holidays so not easy....Frown

    I would like to say just tonight but we are pulling away at 2asm for Pembrey. I had minor back surgery yesterday so want to get parked up near the site before the traffic builds up. Its going to be 5 hours of pain but will be worth it

    11 more sleeps then off to High Onn for 7 nights have to keep fitting trips away in between visits to the Doctors.

    2 more sleeps before we head off to Plymouth on friday & overnight enroute ( so technically I suppose 3 more, but any time spent in the van is a holiday for me - even on a motorway service area )

    3 more sleeps at home before we set off on our summer trip, provided of course that the van comes through it's service ok tomorrow. Fingers crossed.

    Hoorah hoorah, 43 sleeps to another sojourn to Switzerland (two SILs climbing the Eiger, gulp) and South of France but before that, a long weekend seeing a very good friend in Woking for an old friend get together on 23rd of this month. Another 'Buddies'
    get together in Sutton Valance at the beginning of August. Do hope all have a lovely summer.

    I know that feeling AD. 18 more sleeps then off to look after the Gkids for a week. Decided we would rather go down to Penistone (where they live) with the van and look after them there than have them up here.Wink

    3 more sleeps then it's off to Anglesey via Worcester and Chirk, then wending our way back via Welshpool. Van is still in storage until tomorrow - once it's on the drive the dogs will start getting frantic! Happy

    I'm sure we will, millie. Last time we were there was 3 years ago when our old boy George couldn't walk much. So we had to split the days in two - I'd take Harry for a long walk in the morning while Mrs M stayed with George and read or just had a relaxing couple of hours, then we'd swap roles in the afternoon. We loved the aea, particularly the coastal scenery so much we promised ourselves we'd go back when we could do all the walks together - so Harry and Lady can look forward to some strenuous days out! Happy. Use left and right arrows to navigate.

    Hope you have a good trip. You're certainly getting round and about this year!! Our paths may well cross as we're heading south from the Wirral to Shrewsbury on Tuesday.

    2 working nights til  we take the van to Cleethorpes for 3 nights (last trip in the old van)

    20 more sleeps till we pick up the new van from Wandahomes

    and 40 nights til we head off on our tour of Portugal, Spain and France.

    Write your comments here...Distraught! Just got back after a brilliant three weeks with the missus, favourite ( only ) granddaughter and Dangerous Dave the German Shepherd.

    We took the Plymouth - Santander ferry, tooled down to Portugal, across to Manilva, Spain and up to Messanges, just north of Biarritz, France.

    We are already planning next years adventures and hopefully quite a few UK trips in the meantime.

    8 for us not sure where we are going yet but it will be somewhere local as we only have the weekend to go away probably Loch Lomond or maybe up to Blair Drummond CC not decided yet
