Same for us Helen and then we are off to N.Yorkshire. Have rung the site today to make sure all is still OK with our booking (not a CC site) and all is well, we are booked onto a fully serviced pitch.Laughing  Mr H is delighted. Just done a load of washing and ironing ready to pack - just wish I knew what to pack. Undecided Today has been pleasant so hope it stays like this. Have a great time at Top Lodge.

Hope you all have a good time! Just looked at the weather forecast and it seems to be warming up, in the SW at least. Our next break will be a rally in Devon, although I met up with the organisers at Weston Park and they were short of numbers, so I hope
we can go. Nice rally in Clovelly anyone?Wink

Around July 24th, might start a bit earlier, with Devon & Cornwall, a free and easy rally, we went last year and really enjoyed it. There is a lovely walk down into Clovelly and buses stop near the site for Hartland and Bideford.

That's a pity! I think they have been running it for a few years so I hope it will keep going, we had to leave early last year so just hoping it will go ahead.

Yes Helen the same site as last year. I can thoroughly recommend it. Mind you we had wonderful weather last year which might have clouded my judgementLaughing. I think I will try and pack a mixture of clothes to try and cover all eventualities. Youngest son, DIL and 2 grandchildren coming over from N.Ireland to join us for our 2nd week. They will be staying in a nearby cottage. SO looking forward to seeing them all.HappyHappyHappyHappy

Sounds great,  how lovely to have the family together. We are planning N. Yorkshire next year, as it's one of our favourite areas,  it's about time we went back.Wink

They just take a while to respond to phone calls Helen. You need to give them a day to reply to either a phone message or an internet enquiry but they are really lovely people who own it.

By the look at the long distance forecast we should be in for a period of warm weather so you should be fine at both Stamford, H&T and in Yorkshire too Millie. Hope you both enjoy your trips away. You both have earned a restfull time after the kitchen installation
    H&T.

4 days till our main holiday - a whole week (I think)! - at New England Bay. Celebrating our first caravan holiday there in 1976. No children this time.

Technically, two sleeps for me, but in reality it will more likely be one and a comfy snooze! One at home tonight, and then yahoo.......Night sleeper to Cornwall tomorrow! Bring it on. First proper holiday for me for almost two years. Really looking forward
to ride down on train, loved it last time I did it, despite only having 24 hours in Cornwall that time! Laughing
