TDA, you'll like Warwick. Some of the HS pitches are on Tarmac out by the rails and are a bit car-parky but the rest of the site is OK. It's great for dogs with a huge parkland grass area that the track runs around. Both the site and the parkland are inside
the track. The facilities are getting on a bit and smallish but perfectly formed!  Sainsburys is nearby and there's a great park on the banks of the Avon near the Castle.

could be a good visit for us, only hour and half away, and we know Warwick quite well. Our favourite CL close by has closed for good now, so racecourse sounds and looks tempting. I had a look at DKs photos of site last year, but we somehow never got down
there. If we can find a nice CL near Hidcote and Kiftsgate Gardens I will be happy! That will make a nice little short tour. Thanks for that!

tda, have a look at Meon View, No 1656 in SD, or Monks Barn, No.1657. Can recommend both. There's also Marston Edge, No.1655, but we've not stopped at that one.

Thanks Nellie! We used to stop at Whitegates in Halford Bridge, but it has closed now sadly. Owner was very, very elderly bless him, a lovely chap. Used to be a good stop for a few days to do gardens and NT houses, on way down to SW, so somewhere not far off M40/A46 is ideal.

just had a quick glance, these look perfect for us! Thank you, be a nice little tour Warwick and then one of those! Later in year when gardens are in full flower though!

Meon View is the quietest of the 3, although still close to a main road.

We had been looking in that area too. Dallaculish Farm CL looks brilliant. We want to do Toberomory at some point, but only 3 sites on Mull.
