New caravan on order!

After weeks of looking we have finally taken the plunge and ordered a new Coachman due towards the end of June. I think we could get a job within the caravan industry after viewing and checking the spec. on so many models!!  We feel totally caravanned out-
phew!! Sure it will all be worth it though!!

    Congratulations, your new van is due towards the end of June. Just out of curiosity if you saw the actual model of the van you want at the dealers, why did you not ask " how much for this one " ? That way you would only need to wait a week or so for it.

    Thank you! We would rather wait for one because of the amount of footfall through the demo. As we are trading in we still have a caravan to use for holidays already booked.

    We are waiting for our new van too - due towards the end of May.  We're keeping our old one until the new van comes.

    Hopefully the time will pass quickly! We looked at the Pastiche 575 it was really nice but opted for the Conqueror 580 with a date of end May/beginning June.

    We ordered a Coachman Pastiche 575/4 in October 2015. We have been given the build date this June with delivery at the begining of July. I was told by the dealer and it was confirmed by other dealers at the NEC in February that by December 2015 the whole
    of the 2016 Coachman stock had been sold out. If this is true I wonder if you have a cancellation order or is it a demonstration caravan from another dealer which you did not want? Perhaps worth asking. We are lucky that the delivery time suited us. Sorry
    to throw a spanner in the works.

    Hope you like the new caravan. It is two years since we bought ours but we know what it is like looking round different makes and finding they are all very similar. We were lucky in a way as only Lunar had the layout we settled on so no going to and fro
    trying to work out which idewntikit caravan was the best.

    Apparently Coachman are doing another run of so many before the shutdown. Our dealership is kept informed.

    Bod, pleased that it is sorted. Sorry if caused any stress but thought you would want to know. Enjoy the Coachman, we are certainly looking forward to ours.

    No probs. We were told the same thing - but they must have decided another run due to demand! We have ordered a Pastiche 575 - how about you?

    Bod, yes the same! After spending weeks at different dealers driving many many miles we found the Pastiche 575 fitted our need perfectly. It seems such a long time ago we ordered. Best wishes for the future.
