Seatruck Ferry to Ireland
Wasn't sure which section to make this thread so took a chance here.
We have a family wedding in Ireland later this year so have decided to take the motorhome and tour Southern Ireland and noticed Seatruck ferries take motorhomes.
Wondered if anyone had tried our have booked a crossing.

I hadn't heard of them but a quick look through the website seems to show a fleet of small, shallow draught freighters, taking 8 hours for the crossing, but with at best only twelve cabins for drivers, a very small lounge area, no reclining seats pictured
and no food and drink mentioned. Is it cheap?0 -
You get a berth in a shared cabin , meals , drink and wifi.
Works out £100 cheaper on a return journey from Heysham to Dublin compared to a Cairnryan to Larne journey priced with the CC discount.
The crossing is 9 hours but it's overnight.

Well that sounds OK. Are you going to give it a go? I can't find any reviews from anyone else.

I have emailed the company to clarify a couple of points.
Hopefully there are more reviews in the next few months before we need to make our booking.
The outward journey is overnight which is ideal although inwards is afternoon. Although saves driving up to Belfast or Larne.
