Well the day has finally arrived where we go to collect our new van.  Ordered exactly 6 months ago, well that's when we decided a bigger van was needed and we chose a Bailey Pegasus.  We got fed up of constantly changing Delivery Dates and switched to a
Sterling Elite 560.  That was delivered before Easter and at 9am we take ownership of it.  Really excited!

Hope it's everything you wish for. Has the supplier given you a couple of days on a site close to them so that you can give the van a thorough check through?

We are on a site about 8 miles from home and 10 miles from the dealership.  Was handy yesterday when I needed to go back and drop some weight off at the house (see my nose weight thread).  Also had to go back to the dealer to borrow an Alko wheel lock as the one sent to me by thecaravanshop was the wrong insert no.  So far so good, we  struggling a bit with the Alde Heating but apart from that all is good.

Yes it seems to take some getting used to. We collected our Elddis Affinity 2 weeks ago. The Alde heating was fine so long as we turned it up past 25C....!! The temperature sensor must be very inaccurate. It does seem strange at first, having no fan noise!

You can calibrate the room temperature in the settings menu of the Alde control panel. It may be the case it is set too low.

We are going home today and will be buying a thermometer to try and find out the true temperature.  The base temperature for ours seems to be 22 degrees and we don't feel that's quite right.  We need to speak to the dealer this morning about the heating
    and also the door.

Does the number actually matter? if you are not warm enough simply adjust accordingly. What difference will a thermometer make? it won't by itself change the actual temperature.
