We shall be in France for Easter, as we have a holiday home there now, having camped and caravanned there for so many years!
Perhaps if it's warm enough we'll go down to the beach, if not we'll sit on our roof terrace and have friends around. We won't be in the caravan though, this time, but will go in the caravan in June/July and meet up with other friends.

Have a great trip Tracyp, we stayed at Sand house Farm for Easter many years ago now, handy as nice walk into Whitby.
We will be at home, but hopefully youngest son is coming for a couple of days.

Staying at home, away the week after Easter at Hunters Moon, then meeting up with friends Harold and Primrose at Tredegar House at the end of April for a few nights then to France and Catalonia for May and June, can't wait

Despite having our caravan 18months due to our last minute trip to USA last year and us working, we have still not managed to get away for a full week in the van so the two Easter Breaks are the longest we have had. We are staying fairly local this Easter
and going to Emblem Villa (I think) which is South Teesside/North Yorkshire. We cannot wait for the summer when we are going to Whitstable and Brighton for a week at each

We're in Spain right now and we're hunkering down for the happy if noisy mayhem that is a Spanish Easter weekend. We're not moving until Semana Santa is over and things are back to 'normal' . Here is a photo of 'normal' campsite activity.

We are off to Melrose Gibson Park, not til Easter Monday though, have tried to visit this site several times and had to cancel each time so fingers crossed we make it this time. We have just got our van back after repairs were needed due to vandals damaging
the door, it took 6 months for the repair to be completed so have missed our get aways and really looking forward to this break.0 -
We are going to Passage Farm on the banks of the River Severn. It's a highly rated CL site and I was lucky enough to get the last pitch they had available for Easter. We had hoped to by trying out our new Swift Elite, but it's still not arrived at the
dealers, so will be taking our Lunar Quasar.0 -

The wardens at Braemar recommended a butchers shop on the main street in Melrose as making the best pies in Scotland if not Britain. I found two butchers but could not choose which was the better. A second opinion would
be lovely !!The Second is ==> Climb the steps to the upper platform of the Abbey and have a look to see if the Pig is still playing those damned bagpipes please !!
Enjoy the place tho', its a lovely little town in a grand area !

ahh Melrose, my favourite site. It is the butchers closest to the site that does the pies, the one further up is mainly all meat, we use the one at the bottom for pies, the one at the top for steaks!
As of last year the pig was still playing.
Oh the King's Arms gives 10% off food for club members
On topic, West Ayton for us

Have a great trip tracyp. We are at home for Easter - we very rarely go away in the caravan over the bank holidays as it is too busy. We are going away to Sandringham just after Easter so really looking forward to that as we had to cancel our trip last
week owing to an urgent repair to our tow car.0 -
i wish.....
enjoy, you two.....

Home now and won't be out Easter Weekend, as we never go out in the van that holiday, but going away the Wednesday after.

Where are you off to this time, nellie?
This is the long one. East Anglia, Essex, Hertfordshire then Lincolnshire and somewhere else on the way home. but not yet decided where exactly yet. Have already booked 13 sites so lots of reviews to write in due course.

Last minute change of plans as the site we booked for Easter got tent pitches mixed up with caravan pitches. So are now going to Cheddar CC site on Good Friday, then onto Ruda Burrows commercial site on Sunday to Thursday.
Both non serviced pitches. CC £30.40 per night. Ruda Burrows £29 per night including access to indoor water slide / pool facilities.
Telephoned Cheddar CC site direct on Saturday morning to get a cancellation pitch.

Going to Ourgate again this Easter. Always enjoy it as it's like a home-from-home to us. The previous tenants seem to have the same tastes in furnishings and music etc so we settle in quite quickly. The only problem seems to be that they haven't hoovered
for a while so does anyone know how these things work?Enjoy it, despite the forecast, if you're away.

Nice sunny day here at Isla Plana.
The Spanish are arriving for the Easter Holiday, complete with Children!! And there are young people about!
It's t-shirts by day, but a bit chilly in the evening still. Looking at UK forecast, we hope all you happy campers have a pleasant holiday, despite the weather.
