The Huskydog has given up caravaning
Because he's bought a Motorhome
just bought a Lunor Roadstar 620 , which we pick up in 6 weeks time , once I get it home I hope to fit a solar panel and look into
a refillable gas system ( gas low ) ??
can't wait to start touring

Well done HD, I thought for a minute that you were packing up for good, not going over to the dark side

Hope you enjoy it, we have to wait till May for ours grrrr
Why the 6 week wait?
Thanks MT
That is the earliest they can get it ready , the dealer is selling M/H's quicker than they can supply them ,and we need to alter our parking area to accommodate it , so it suits us both..

M, got a week booked at Crossways in August for a shake down , and France is on the cards for next year
well done, but why not park it outside your shop and sleep there?

Good for you HD! I hope you enjoy the change as much as we have, no regrets on buying our MH, but then we kept our caravan as well! I hope you have a great time, travel light, and let your fun begin!
Dare I ask, is your chum any nearer to changing over?

Now you can say goodbye to camp sites and have some fun parking for free. Our last weekend out consisted of a stop at Council Car Park for £1 and the next night was a very nice Pub Stop. Free parking. Meal was less than you would pay on a camp site.

Don't forget to wave at us on your travels husky. Enjoy.....

I doubt that, you two.....
you have a sensible gas system, a solar panel and the world (well, france initially) will definitely be your 'lobster' (AMOBUTS) where youll be able to just pull in if a town/vilage catches your eye, and just get on with exploring....
Husky, after the shakedown, considering your location, im sure youll be 'airing' in france sooner rather than later.....
again, good luck....

Hope it all goes well for you HD, but why the wait till August for the shake down when you get your M/H in 6 wks time. Can't you fit in a day or two on a site close to the dealer's when you pick her up, to get a feel for her?
