We bought our 2015 Vauxhall Antara in July of last year. It was a six month old demonstrator/managers car and as such came with a few extras including proper mats, boot floor protector and crucially a Thule detachable tow bar and 13 pin socket.

When we bought it we made it clear what the purpose of the car was going to be ie towing a caravan. However as some people discover we found that the 13 pin hadn't been fully wired to include running the fridge. Only the road lights and the connection for
the ATC was running.

Our car was in for some warranty work yesterday and my wife collared the salesman who sold us the car and she politely pointed out that really as we had made it clear what the car was going to be used for it really should have been supplied with the socket
fully wired.

Well he agreed spoke to his manger (who happens to be a caravanner and understood the issue) and they have agreed to add the required electrics.

Result and top marks for good service. I understand not everybody has been as lucky with other dealers when in the same situation.
