We often hear the term "freeloader" given to some members , is this fair to label them with this term when all they are doing is something that is within the rules ??

No, personally I think it is a rather insulting comment.

edit if they have paid to stay on the site, any discressionary  additions have been paid for and are therefore not free.

I can't see that this relates to anything other than the Sunday Departures discussion and I'm sure, after almost 10,000 posts on that thread, not a lot more can be added to yet another thread so I'm suspending it and referring it to our Community Manager for her decision on whether it should be re-opened.

    Comment from Community Manager:

The term ‘freeloader’, when used against another member, is not appropriate on the community and please report this if you see in a discussion. Husky, I appreciate you bringing this to our attention but I do feel this discussion is best left closed as it could potentially lead to arguments and disagreements and we do not want to encourage others to justify the use of this word. As such we will be leaving the discussion closed. Many thanks for your understanding.
