Surge in Caravan Thefts

This does.nt surprize me as i,ve always thought that caravans are easy too break into and easy too tow away. They must represent very easy pickings and good money for thieves and are probably easy too sell on.I would imagine many are stolen too order .We lost one back in 2010 and quite frankly the police were not really interested and the van was never recovered.

I would have thought that it's abit of a wild statement, unless you have any proof. I know for a fact that double axle vans are more likely to be stolen and I do know that the gypsy fraternity prefer them but I wouldn'd dare point a finger that way.

The numbers stolen by travellers should be fairly static but bigger ones are favourite if you want to live in them. The increase would have to be those stolen for onward sale and they could be any type according to what they can get hold of or they have
