Hi all,any suggestions out there for insulating the pipe work for our blown air pipe running to the bathroom in our MH? The pipe is black corrugated and runs under the floor with no insulation. There's not much heat left in it when it reaches the rear bathroom

I manufactured a lightweight ply box lined with 1" polystyrene for mine.

Hi, I had a similar problem in my caravan and was recommended to use Armaflex self seal pipe insulation. I needed 76mm circumference X 19mm thickness. Comes in 2m lengths, I ordered online from JTM Plumbing in Darlington, ordered one day, delivered next!
Cost around £11 + VAT per length.

easy to use, cut around bends and join with tape. Haven't tested it yet but expect it will be an improvement. Even if it isn't its not a great financial loss!

I've use pipe wrap around the hot air pipe on our old caravan, wrapping & taping black pastic (from old dog food sacks) around it to protect it from the the wet.

Just create a boundary around it with cardboard then fill it with expanding foam. Once dry you can cut any excess away with a bread knife. I’m not sure it’ll help that much but you never know. Leaving the bathroom door open to encourage the air flow may help. You don’t want to be pumping into a ‘dead end.

I think the title should read "Stimulating..." Wink

I also used Armaflex on my Quasar. It did a good job of insulating all the pipes under the van and didn't take long to fit.

Thanks for all the ideas, if we ever get weather dry enough I'll get underneath to check which one would be best. The title should have actually been insulating, how that became simulating I don't know Thanks again and happy camping to all
