Hello everyone

Myself and the other half have been keen campers for well over 30 years and we still are. We use the double skillet pan on a regular basis that we have had since new and wouldn't do without it, however,as the original suppliers are no longer in business we
have an opportunity to have these manufactured to the same spec if not better than the originals.

So, I'm doing a bit of market research in asking you good people whether there would be any interest.

Thank you for your input Smile

A company called Judge maked a double grill pan, is that the same type of thing.  It is sold on Amazon for £12.99.

    | used to have one that went across to gas rings and had 3 sections, a smooth one, a ribbed one and two indents for eggs.  But it was made from cast iron and was very cumbersome to store in the van, so I gave up on it.

    Good luck in your venture.

I would think it is a non starter with the majority tending to use electric cooking devices to save on gas.Wink

I still got and use one of the orginal double skillets and it is now 26 years old.

Not everyone uses electric.  People who use basic CLs and rallies as well as those who wild camp may be interested in a revival of the double skillet.  There was a thread about it some time ago. Not sure if I would go for one.  A lot depends on the price,
    size and weight.

I bought mine because my first caravan didn't have an oven, how many come without one these days? Mine rarely gets used in place of the oven, it is now usually used singly.

I am quite interested as so many people seem to love them but there are a few on Amazon it seems.  I have an electric one in the kitchen which I like a lot but its a bit bulky for the caravan.  I have Safefill gas so that isn't an issue for me.  However I would want it usable on induction hob as well as gas - I see one amazon review reckons that version is made of aluminium.
