anyone can advise me on where I can get a new exhaust for my fiat Ducato swift kontiki 2005 model .

it has 2 boxes the larger 1 having pipes coming out same side ,i have been quoted £300 inc vat for stainless steel using only 1 box , is this ok , can only 1 box do the job ?

I am based in Hemel Hempstead Hertfordshire

cheers

john

I'd try an exhaust specialist or, if all else fails as a last resort, a Fiat commercial garage. It matters not what the big white box on the back is.

Yes, one box can do the same as 2 & £300 for the stainless system doesn't sound too bad to me.

In theory, a twin box system is going to be quieter than a single, but in practice there's likely to be little difference ..... unless you have a thumping great V8 under the bonnet Cool

Nope just a standard 2.8 diesel . Just hope the fella knows what he is doing as its a STS garage which seems to specialise in wheel alignments, but advertise exhausts.

Some tyre places that advertise powerflow exhausts and such like will build the exhaust onto your vehicle, I've had a ford V6 Cougar system built and changed from a single tailpipe to a twin for around £200, superb work to. They have also done a straight
six mustang and a hemi V8 poweted model A ford for me but that was a few years ago.

Went to STS in Bedford , a private family run wheel alignment company, £300 inc vat for stainless steel single box ,seems fine .
