Awning groundsheet query
We're in the process of changing from a motorhome to a caravan.
An awning will be essential, but I am a bit bothered about the question of groundsheets. The airstrut awning I favour has a fitted non-breathable grounsheet and I am aware that this could be an issue on grass sites.
Is there a hard an fast rule as to whether these are acceptable - given only a few nights at each location? I understand that if you were at one site for 2 weeks then you would not be very popular killing off the grass.
Any advice greatly appreciated - thank you.

A non breathable groundsheet will turn grass yellow very quickly, especially in warm weather. It is for this reason that most sites ( both CC & private ) ask that groundsheets be lifted daily - something that is not necessary with the breathable type.

You still need to lift a breathable one every few days though.
