Yes, in a word. Mayday is the Caravan Clubs link-up in this country with Green Flag.

    However......Mayday only covers UK.

Red Pennant is separate and covers you when abroad.

So if going abroad, you need both.

    Or something else, like ADAC.

Mayday does give better cover than the standard Green Flag so if you need it use Mayday.

Thanks yes triky i was with rac when i had motorhome then had a very bad experience :- i always renewed automatically in december , rac had sent new membership cards , i went to go to sheffield to visit my dad urgently and my transit wouldnt start , i phoned
rac and they had no record of my membership,(22 years member) i told them i had my cards in my hand , but it turned out they hadnt taken my annual debit : they made me renew and it would cost more etc etc very time consuming , and extremely unhelpfull , actually
rude and condescending , i phoned AA and went with them , it was rac 's mistake and it seemed i was having to pay for it , luckily my dad regained his health and lived (hes 86 and very ill with parkinsons) but the rac behaved very badly , so i suppose i cut
off my nose to spite my face ! And went with AA cheers mrs bc

ps have joined mayday today too:)
