Water transfer

Despite kjell's comments, most caravan inboard tanks are NOT intended to be used in transit. One litre of water weighs 1kg so if you carry 10 - 20 litres whilst driving along that's a lot of weight sloshing around. Every caravan tank I have seen has no baffles
so it is straining the fixing points and creating instability. On the Bailey we had, first time out I left some water in the internal tank and the nose weight went up to 120 kg.Since you cannot really travel with water in the tank you have to question what use they are but that's a different topic!

...... Have you got your motor back.......hope so.
I have. But guess what? It's exactly the the same & as they said they'd done nothing cos they couldn't find a fault, it's hardly surprising. It's going back again on Monday .....again!
It's a good job I have another car for work
