    After a very nice South African gent took my call at CC HQ, he spoke to his manager and I have to put in a formal complaint as there is no reason for my cancellation. They make the decissionto whether a site is to have pitches cancelled and then bookings
    are not allowed either by phone or internet untill further notice.  Black knowl has no record of flooding where the New Forest ( Centenary) site has.

    Had a nice late afternoon/early evening before I left to make my way back to my fantastic. CL!  Really quite here, i have been out looking at the stars!

    Just got back from Black  knowl, site is full again tonight!

    unfortunately Martin had company so down one man down, Carolyn and I are off out tomorrow lunchtime for a meal to celebrate my 59th Birthday!  Yay!

    oh by the way, another very nice day! Light clouds aned sun!

    Is it possible the phone call cancelling the booking was not from a Caravan Club warden? Can you scroll back on your phone to note the number that called you?

    ..Go into the office and have a face to face, it could clear it up and they will be on the back foot with the info you have,

    I have spoken to the wardens about other things like,visitors car park full where should I park etc.  I am trying to manage my life at the moment, I am sure CCHQ will get to the bottom of this all! Me starting an arguement with them will just upset me even
    more!  Its my birthday today why should I upset myself? Plus when I have finished my commuting to Black Knowl every day on Monday, then i can concentrate on getting this fiasco down on paper and get ready for the operation on my hand on Wednesday.  All go!

    Quite day for me as Pickles hasnt been well and ended up having a £85 vet bill! Plus extremely clean carpets and gravel now!

    home tomorrow in the rain by the looks of it, but overall a very nice trip away, meeting up with nice people!  Till next time, safe tow home everyone!

    Hi thanks Ken! Had a nice day, meal out and icecreams on the beach!

    Pickles must have felt better today as he woke me up with a rumbly hungry tummy!

    I left the CL at Sway at 9.30 and was home at 11.30, so not too bad. I left sunshine and got home to rain!

    i hope the rain is Spain falls mainly on the plain and not where you are.

    I had a great time and the weather was lovely!  Good to see you all.  I live less than an hour away but have never been to this site before.  I will definitely go again!!  Thanks Martin for suggesting it.

    I am disappointed I never saw any new born foals. There will be loads soon though!
