    I might book in if the weather is too cold or wet to stay on a THS with no electric or facilities.

    n idea Viv.  I'm sure what we would save on heating on gas would help pay the extra cost anyway.  I've got my heating on 24/7 here as it's freezing.

    I've booked from 29th to the 4th at the mo - may shorten it if the weather is bad or if I'm feeling skint nearer the time.

    I am so pleased I was persuaded to amend my booking to Black Knowl. There seems to be speculation that we will be in a big freeze till after Easter!  At least now I won't need the gas heating on! Lol

    ***ATTENTION***

    I have had my booking cancelled. They say the pitches are flooded, anyway a few Solos are already on site, so I have managed to get in on a CL at Sway, so will commute.

    To add insult to injury, the CC has now put a black mark against my name to not cancelling before the 72 hour curfew!  Bloody Cheek! Anyway, yes! I will be around, but not on the site. Yes! the meet is still going ahead!

    I know its a pain being cancelled but there will be good reasons and the wardens will, I am sure,have an established system they follow for cancellations.

    As I am sure you know the "strike" emails are fully automated and I am sure EG Towers will sort that out for you!!

    Pleased you managed to get an alternative booking though and look forward to meeting up.
