Well  there  was  one  in  Feb  This  year,  TIFFIN,  with  no  real  moans  so  I  cant  see  any  reason  for  them  not  to  continue  the  habit.

Write your comments here...You get evening entertainment as well within the price so I'm sure you'll enjoy your stay. We enjoyed it when we went in October.

I too become Mr Grumpy at shows when the girls keep on buying more junk for the pile. However, the last NEC show in Oct '14 they bought an absolute gem of a cheese grater. A 1Kg block of cheese grated now lasts about 8 weeks Tongue Out I'm
now not Mr so grumpy, but still check what they get hooked into watching in the way of demostrations, and do a quick internet check on the mobile to ensure best price!! Happy

I  heard  a  little  whisper  that  David  DSB  will  be  looking  for  a

Double -- locked  cheese  safe  innocent    wink

Me  ??  I'll  be  looking  round  "Roadstar"  for  a  slim  Dash-camera  to  place  at  the

bottom  of  the  screen,  'cos  there  is  no  mirror  to  hide  it  behind.

Being  a  gentleman  of  a "Certain  Age"  I  can  choose  to

go  whenever  I  want,  so  I  normally,  go  on  Club  Day  ==

'cos  that  permits  me  to  get  in  for  the  very  least  cost,

and  before  the  good  folks  manning  the  different  stands,

bars,  cheese  stalls  etc  have  become  a  little  bored

with  all  these  'vanners  trying  anything  to get  another

few  pennies  off  already heavily  discounted items   wink

Got  my  "February"  Club  mag  today  and  the  coupon

for  "Club  Day  Discount"  is  on  the  bottom  of  PAGE 9

it  reduces  an  Old  Goat's  Entry  Fee  to  £4:50  each  &

one  coupon  covers  two  "Seniors"  but  only  on  Feb  21st

"Club Day"  !!  ( It  reduces  the  fee  to  £5  each  for  'normal'

adults  !!  I  suppose it's  because  they  are  expected  to

spend  less  on  shopping  wink  !)

We normally go (IF we go) on a weekend day; purely because of traffic. Tried it once on a weekday a few years ago and never again.  Took us about 3.5 hours to do about 100 miles.  The traffic coming away from the NEC was horrendous, no apparent reason other than an enormous amount of traffic coupled with the fact it was rush-hour.

We certainly have David.  We made good use of it last summer, but we haven't used the sides/room yet.  Didn't use the canopy at all in the autumn.  I think our needs have changed a bit now. Now that Anna is in uni she doesn't come with us, so we haven't needed as much room, and whole we've been away in the late autumn, we haven't felt much like sitting out.  Certainly won't use it now until Easter, at the earliest - must get the sides in at some stage though.  laughing
