Sir Bradley Wiggins at NEC

Was Sir Bradley Wiggins at the NEC on Tuesday? I only ask because although I wasn't at the Club stand at official opening time I didn't hear any announcements regarding Bradley at any time during the day. As well as officially opening the show he was supposed to be speaking on several occasions during the day highlighting his caravan/motorhome experiences. There were announcements during the day promoting other events at the Live Theatre.

He wasn't there according to the C&CC who apologised for his abscence.

Many thanks - no real surprise given recent negative publicity.

Perhaps he could not get out of his Sky contract and is still on the helpline

We saw the Meeks family on the Club stand. Those children are polished professionals when it comes to answering questions. Very impressive.

Quite  agree  about  the  Little  Meeks  but  I  only  saw  them  on  Tuesday. If  they  have  kept  anywhere  near  to  that  standard  by  the  end  of  the  show  then  they  are  a  real credit  to  their  parents  !!

With  reference  to  Wiggo,  he's  dropped  out  of  a  visit  to  the  Middle  East  amongst  more  allegations  ==  possibly  just  keeping  his  head  down  !!

Write your comments here...Yes I was on the club stand when the Meeks family were on and noticed the audience suddenly pay more attention when the youngest daughter spoke. The way she presented herself for someone so young was a credit to her family.

Didn't realise the Meeks had been at the show. Would have loved to have heard their presentation

They were on the stage with the presenter (can't remember his name but I recognised him from Watchdog and other programmes) and answering questions from his prompts.

I guess the only reason they could take a year plus out was that the parents are both teachers so covered the schooling and I guess the Club sponsored them to an extent and it was evident that they travel around the country doing similar appearances. A good
    investment by the Club.
