I am one of the members who do not use "social media".  Where can we enter?

You cannot, you are being discriminated against but do send the same £48 (or more) when renewal time comes up.

If it wasn't for CL's eh?

Not sure what I might do once I get my "50 Years a Member" sticker.  Perhaps not bother renewing and spend my money getting insulted in different ways on commercial sites.

Just checked with HQ and I can't enter without a sosul meja account. They suggested I could sign up with twitterface, enter the competition, then deactivate the account. I wonder where the deactivated account information is stored. I hope that I am not contributing
to the prize money, they all look like freebies from the advertisers except perhaps for the holiday.

As far as I can see you can enter the holiday competition by requesting a pack
    here.

I don't think you need a social media account.

You can enter the holiday prize draw without signing up for the photo competition but if you win you can't take your van, you only get a ferry crossing for a car  and passengers and you get a pitch for a four person tent. Seems a bit mean for a caravan club.

It does say camping holiday and the competition is part of the Big Little Tent Festival. So I would think it is what one would expect.

Am I the only person who doesn't understand why the Caravan Club is promoting a
    Tent festival?

Huskydog is right. There was an article or set of minutes I read that said the CC was keen on encouraging tents as they believe campers would move on to caravans or motorhomes. The CC sees itself as part of the leisure industry now and seems willing to take
the risk of alienating long serving members for the benefit of acquiring new ones. Standard practice in most service industries, despite all the articles written highlighting the cost of keeping existing members is much less than the cost of attracting new
members. I don't mind campers on site providing standards remain the same which would meean ensuring the facilities can cope with increased usage.

On the other hand you could just remember that not everyone can afford a van and welcoming a few tents onto a site won't really affect your stay in any way. Most of us have well equipped vans that many campers would envy, especially in bad weather.  Tents
