Saturday  18th  June  2016 

One  hour  ago  at  10:55  I  got  my  first  Email  telling  me  about  the  Motorhome  &  Caravan  Show  at  the  N.E.C.    on  11th -- 16th  October  2016 !!  Are  they  trying  to  tell  me  something  ?Surprised?

HappyAnd  for  the  record, I'll  miss  this  show  for  the  first  time  in  donkey's  years  'cos  I'll  be  doing   a  3 week  Highland  tour  so  there  can  be  no  offers  of  free  Danish  &  Coffee  for  me  to  renege  on  Laughing

    use the C&CC Temp Hol Site (THS) at Croxhall Farm, only 15mins from the NEC and, at only around £8/9 per night, youll be able to buy a new van with the money youve savedUndecided

    If this is of interest to anyone ,

    I was at the Lawns caravan show yesterday and talking to some friends who work at Swift, they say they have never been so busy and 2017 caravan production is nearly sold out,

    Can somebody please explain to me why a 'transaction fee' is charged by the NEC Caravanning & Camping Show organisers even if the ticket/s is/are emailed?

    That  seems  to  be  a  regular  thing,  CF1610 --  why  they  do  it  I'm  not  sure

     

     

    But  following  the  need  to  cancell (  Sad  )  my  Scottish  tour,  I  will  be  found  skulking  in  the  shadows  near  the  Club  Stand 
    at  about  13:00  hours  on  Club  Day  for  anybody  wanting  to  play  Hide--and--Seek  !!  5ft  11  (ca),  spherical,  white  beard    etc,  probably  a  bag  of  cheese  even  if  I  buy  nothing  else  !!

    It could all depend on dates.  I'm going to try, and if I'm about that week I will be going.  We wanted to get away in the van at some stage and that depends on hospital appointments.  Waiting for the letters to arrive!

    However,  my visit in February cost me a new van and a Thule awning - as well as Snowdonia Cheese!!  Laughing

    As the usual Tuesday vowchers have not been printed in the magazine this time for the NEC show I did some 'research' and found that one can be downloaded from the CC website to pay on the day £5 50, no transaction fee, why pay the extra if you are available
    on the first day?

    Sadly we won't be going, so will have to decline your kind offer Wink.  Just about settled back and thinking about trip out combining a visit to
    a newly moved relative in Lytham St Annes.  No chance of shows, as £;s needed for NZ trips.

    Ian, if you book before 23.59hrs on 10/10/2016 then prices are £6.75 Senior  £7.75 Adult. After that they are £11 & £12 respectively.

    You have 26hrs.......Cool
