    Hardly representative. You wouldn't take a large unit on those roads deliberately

    We missed last weeks offering we were at Pembrey and had no tv signal. After watching the first 30 mins I am left wondering who thought this was a good idea. Who are these people, who chose them and what has any of this rubish to do with caravaning. I have
    just removed my 30 year sticker from the front of our van as I am ashamed to be a member and I don't want anybody to know we are. Well done CC, you have reinforced what a lot of people think of us.Sad

    Well so far we have the motorhome judge who doesn't know the width of his motorhome.  And of course which soft toy do we take to keep us company.
    Another mockery of the club, well done

    Sorry if it offends you but we have lots in our van, mainly relevant to places we have been.

    Oh dear middle England is getting its knickers in a twist!  We're new to caravanning and new to the Caravan Club and as far as we are concerned Caravanner of the Year is a light hearted slightly offbeat look
    at the world of caravanning. If anyone is seeing it as anything other than that then we can assure you there are much more important issues to get vexed about.

    We have a few suggestions for new challenges for next years event:

    enclosing the largest area possible with a given size windbreak.

    monopolising the maximum number of washing up sinks with the smallest amount of washing up.

    competitive gossiping.

    highest whip flag pole with greatest number of spinners and best light show

    and especially for Elddis owners, the largest crack in the back panel.

    'Twas the mini-skirt that won it!

    Seriously people, life is too short to worry about what others think of your hobbies.

    Elite.. :Grin::rofl:

    and it did close with  photo call and..........

    "SAY CARAVAN CLUB"...........

    Yes, it was a laugh, a laugh at those poor souls duped into taking part, and a laugh at the Caravan club and all associated with it and caravans.
