I'm totally embarrassed by this programme.

It's on BBC2 - and the national audience are being given the impression these are the best six "finalists" the Caravan Club could come up with. Which is rubbish.

It's just confirming and reinforcing the prejudices against caravans that the likes of Clarkson have stoked and encouraged amongst "thirty-somethings" in their BMW & Audi "Ferraris" - and it will just lead
to more road rage and aggression against our members when the Clarkson clones hit the road.

     Dearie me.

Whoever in the CC sanctioned this pile of rubbish should do the decent thing and resign. This programme does not reflect the type of people generally seen on caravan sites nor does it accurately reflect life as a caravanner on site. Then seeing the chairman
taking the back off the caravan in attempting to tow up a hill, that no caravanner would attempt without someone on the outside checking, and then pontificating as a judge is just hypocritical. Please pull the second programme because this one has done the
average caravanner a great disservice. The CC should be offering an apology to all its members.

    Well said.

Ah, Wotser. Nice to see you. Are you going to 'sigh'?

As for the program, I watched it against my better judgement and if gives me no pleasure to say it exceeded my worst expectations.

Mr Chairman, you should be ashamed of yourself for allowing the Club to be shown in such a light. I hereby call for your resignation forthwith.

I cannot believe the CC have been manoeuvred by the producers to deliver this mockery / joke onto national television. Himself and I have spent an hour between consternation and shouting at the televisision. How on earth did this group end up as the top
six???? It does not show the CC in a good light And will end up doing more damage than good.

What an utter embarrassment From start to finish. 6 of the best in the uk and only 1 can reverse. My drive is tighter than any of those challenges. The lowest age was 42!!! Nice work cc for trying to get youngsters into the hobby. Sorry, forgot cc hates
young people. If anyone asks at work tomorrow if I saw it, I shall deny all knowledge of knowing it was on.

That was shocking, gave up after 30 mins as it was so boring. Only hope is anyone not interested in Caravans would have turned it off after about 5 minutes. A two hour slot on prime time TV and the best they can come up with is this !!! Agree all involved from club and BBC should resign. Even if the BBC thought it would be a laugh at the expense of the Caravan owners all they created was a yawn fest.

I am so embarassed that my neighbours may have watched this program

I would sell my caravan on ebay if the price hadnt plummetted after this show.

Having watched the Chairman of the Caravan CIub I now understand why we have so many petty rules.

The club must have seen this program pre broadcast, what planet are they on.

I thought it was laughable from start to finish and has caused some serious damage to the caravan and motor home community.

cannot wait to see they winning performance(not)

The programme was totally boring and underwhelming.  It only confirms in the public's eyes that the CC is full of doddery old weirdos.

The female judge trying to look like Dorothy in the Wizard of OZ  was equally bizarre.

In all a waste of programme time and has set the publics impression of caravanners back by about 30 years.

Mind you rally center committee members will think it was great as it would be very familiar to them.

heres another rule - towing of caravans up steep hills is not only dangerous its just effing stupid do you think they'll add that to the book?

I've spent the last God knows how many years trying to convince my non caravanning friends of the amazing world of caravanning.  Well now I'm going to have spend the next God knows how many years telling them I'm not a complete baffoon, thats if they ever
    stop laughing to listen.

What an embarrasing and patronising program, thanks Caravan Club.

Mr Chairman, Do you remember Gerald Ratner. I suggest you have damaged this Club even more than he damaged his Company. You MUST step down now. Do not make your next mistake in trying to justify this farce!

    Regards
