Manchester Caravan Show
Well, we went to this yesterday andI have to say it was a bit of a let-down.
Location was bad (right next to the Trafford Centre so lots and lots of traffic problems to get there). Car parking they tried to direct us to was a long way from the show itself and there were no shuttle buses (we parked at the Trafford Centre itself outside
John Lewis and had a much shorter walk).
The show itself was a lot smaller than the NEC show and I'd say half the space was taken up with statics and holiday parks' stands.
All in all not worth £7 a head.

Must admit Brian that I have to agree with you, I also was disappointed with the show, came home with very few 'bits and bobs' that I would normally treat myself to, always look forward to a wander round the Towsure stand but they weren't there. As you say
it seemed to be full of Park homes and static van parks. I will save myself £18 or so next year and not bother going.0 -
We went on Friday and found it a lot quieter than in previous years. Would agree very little to get excited about although we did like the Lunar Delta RI twin axle with mid washroom/rear transverse island bed. If we had done a deal we would have got a fantastic
offer for the px on our current van losing just 2k over 2 years.0 -
Went on Sunday and I think the location is great very easy to get to and plenty of parking. Yes its smaller then NEC but I like that as I find the NEC just too big I get caravan viewing overload. Its also not as packed so get plenty of chance to get in the
caravans. What was disapointing was the lack of accessory stalls like Towsures. All in all a enjoyable 4 hours.0 -
I went on Friday. Parking is not a problem if you know to use the Trafford centre rather than the designated car parks. It is not big but there was a good range of vans there and I was able to spend a decent time in those that I went into. I don't want
to see every van that is made, just a selection of those that interest me, which is what this show did. All in all a very pleasant day.0
