HI all

Looking for an awning as we are taking delivery of our new van early next year.

We were initially going for a porch type but soon realised they won't properly fit the van so a full awning is looking likely.

However, I can only find 2 of the inflatable type, The Kampa Frontier and the Bradcot Modulair 390. There’s lots of info on the Kampa but very sparse details on the Bradcott and I can't recall seeing it at the caravan show either.

So, are there any owners willing to share their thoughts?

    Hi Matlitel

we bought a Bradcot modul air to go with our new van this year ,this is our 1st caravan and awning so l don't have anything to compare it with, but we have been really impressed with it

We bought it in 3 sections so it can be used as a full awning or as the porch, it's so easy to put up and take down my husband does it on his own, it's been used in all weathers including this weekend with heavy rain and wind and still no complaints.

hope this helps :) any other questions l might help you with please ask

Hi Amead this is my first caravan also, the Bradcott sounds like the right choice for me however as its a modular design can you get a carpet to fit? Also do the front windows open up?

We just bought a standard carpet and folded it to whichever size we needed.

The front windows do not open but you can zip out the panels, we just unzipped the top bits if needed but the side windows unzip and roll up ( just the top halves) leaving a mesh to stop flys etc...

hope you enjoy your caravan as much as we are :)
