Advice on a hoover please
Can anyone give me some advice on what type of hoover for is best for a MH that carries two hairy dogs, we have a small hand held one a the moment which is useless. OH won't want it taking up space in the garage so needs to fit inside, even if it goes in
my wardrobe. I don't mind if it's a small hand held one or a skinny upright just as long as it has good suction. At the moment I am useing a very stiff brush but would prefere a hoover.

I have recently signed up for WOWCHER and one of the offers is a 'dyson' stick type vacuum cleaner for £29. I personally use a 'Gtech' which I got for a song on eBay.
i might suggest that if your OH did the cleaning, he can chose whichever he wants

We have a baby dyson. Its mains upright but has a beater head - its just like a normal dyson that has shrunk in the wash. Fabulous in the caravan with dogs

Dont forget. You cant teach an old dog new tricks!

Approach the problem from a different direction. Shave the dogs.

We only have a small home so treated ourselves to a dyson V8 (cheapest place we found them was Costco)
we keep the small motorised head in caravan and got a spare charger from amazon (about £6) to keep in caravan.
just a case of putting main unit (minus long tube and accessories) in with food and clothing when we pack.

We have battery dyson brilliant for home and away but find it not so good in van/ car due to the solid head for nooks and crannies , bought ourselfs a smaller battery one with flexible hose this is great for the difficult to reach areas and in all fairness
vans / motorhomers have lots of them works well and suits us0 -
I bought the hand held Dyson last year and it was ex demonstration model. I was bitterly disappointed at first as the long attachment cut out every second or so - BUT THEN I discovered it was all clogged up! Once cleaned it does a great job on the caravan!

Well .... I've done some serious looking and John Lewis have the Dyson V6 'Absolute Cordless' for £229 with 2 yrs guarantee but not sure I can make myself spend that amount as I already have a big Dyson and a Henry at home, I will quickly look at the 'Animal'
that has been suggested. I have bought a new Laptop though with £241 off !!0 -

I've just brought a Dyson V6 Animal from their refurbished website on eBay, £167 complete with all new attachments, in fact it all looks brand new to me except for the box. May sound expensive but we have an older model at home which is so good that we have
stopped using our conventional vaccum cleaner. In fact I guess the latest one will stay home and the older one will go to the van.0 -
Hi everyone,
I can also recommend the Dyson V6. It is so light and it is amazing how liberating going cordless is!
Dysons are not cheap but there are some good deals around.
It copes with mine and my daughter's long hair although we do have to maintain it by unblocking the head now and then.
It also copes with my cat's hair as he is also long-haired and moulting at the moment.
The V6 also comes with some useful attachments and you can remove the long cylinder. This means you can vacuum the nooks and crannies with no problem.
Please let us know how you get on. It is Black Friday so I hope you get a good deal.

Thank you for that I'll look at the refurbished website now, I had a look at my Dyson upstairs and it is the Animal (sorry I am blonde) and the suction on that is great but it's not the cordless
